Xavier Vignon Anonyme Chateauneuf Du Pape 2012

The 2012 Xavier Vignon Châteauneuf-du-Pape “Anonyme” is deep purple, infused with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, black raspberry, and anise, tinged with Asian spice. Juicy and sappy on the attack, both voluptuous (a la the 2007) and ultra-concentrated, yet still perfectly light on its feet (like 2010). Sweet and expansive in the mid-palate, filled with a mix of black cherry and black raspberry preserves.
