U Mes U Dahlia

U Mes U Dahlia Rosado is one of the flagship wines from the organically certified U Mes U winery in Font-rubí, in the D.O. Penedès region of Catalonia. The winery was founded on the philosophy of producing expressive, sustainable wines that reflect both the Mediterranean landscape and the individuality of each grape variety. Dahlia is crafted from 100% Garnacha (Grenache) grown on calcareous clay soils at approximately 285 metres above sea level. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s delicate aromatics, followed by a period of lees ageing to enhance texture and complexity. The estate is certified organic and participates in the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection (SWfCP) programme, underscoring its commitment to environmentally responsible viticulture.

U Mes U Dahlia Rosado presents a very pale rosé colour with subtle greyish hues, lending the wine its distinctive appearance. The nose is fragrant and expressive, revealing aromas of rose petals, jasmine and citrus fruits such as mandarin and orange, complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, it is elegant and refreshing, offering flavours of red and white berries with a creamy texture derived from lees ageing. Bright, persistent acidity and a gentle saline minerality carry through to a clean, vibrant finish, creating a rosé that balances finesse with remarkable depth and freshness.
