Hacienda Solano Seleccion

From the Ribera Del Duero D.O., Hacienda Solano 2019 is produced from sustainably-grown mostly Tempranillo with 2% Albillo – a white wine grape sourced from parcels around the village of La Aguilera. Hacienda Solano Selección is a wine made with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes from vineyards over 30 years old located in the area of ​​La Aguilera. Harvesting is carried out by hand, selecting the grapes in the vineyard. Once they arrive at the winery, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, and the result is then aged for 8 months in used French oak barrels.

Ripe dark plum, cherry, well-integrated oak spice, savoury and velvety on the palate. This vintage was fermented in concrete and stainless-steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, then one-third of the wine was aged in neutral 225-litre oak barrel with the balance in concrete tank.
