Lamblin Fils is one of the oldest Domaine in the Chablis region and has been under family control for over 300 years now; the first traces of this family on this terroir date back to 1690. Today, it is run by Didier Lamblin and his brother Michel, with the new generation Clement and Michel also involved ensuring family succession.
The terroir on which the vines grow come from the Jurassic era; from the Kimmeridgian some 150 million years ago. There is thus a deposit of tiny oysters deposits in the rocks, remnants of the warm and shallow seas that covered Burgundy at the time. The most famous 1er Crus, including the Fourchaumes, are located on the right bank just like the Grands Crus.
The Chablis Premier Cru “Fourchaume” 2023 has a pale yellow colour. Its nose offers notes of acacia and vanilla. Its palate is full-bodied, with aromas of brioche and acacia honey. Nice tension on the finish.
