Chateau Bouscasse Argile Rouge

(Tannat, Cabe Sauvignon & Franc, Fer Servadou) As its name suggests, this wine is produced on a terroir whose soil is made up of red clays, which is particularly rare in Madiran. The vines are planted there at high density (around 7,500 vines per hectare) and are around 40 years old. The fruits produced are very aromatic and delicate. The wine produced is all in subtlety and finesse . The tannins remain discreet to promote a silky and supple texture. The 2015 vintage is remarkable! It is rich while being light, it combines aromas of forest fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and orange zest. A real pearl not to be missed!
