Seehof Riesling Trocken

The Seehof Riesling Trocken (“trocken” means “dry” in German, dry meaning “not sweet”) pours a light gold with green highlights. On the nose, aromas of salted grapefruit, golden delicious apple and candied lemon effortlessly plume from the glass. The palate is laser-focused with a saline minerality and a mix of stone fruit and citrus flavors: apricot, white peach, yellow plum, meyer lemon and ruby red grapefruit. There is excellent concentration of flavor which is impeccably balanced by a racy,  crystaline acidity, giving the impression of feather-weight body and gossamer mouthfeel.

The finish is long and vivacious, with a complex interplay of fruit and mineral flavors which elegantly float away. A truly exceptional Rheinhessen Riesling that showcases the power and richness of the region.
