Maison P-U-R Taupe Secret

The color is dark purple, bordering on opaque, coloring the walls of the glass when stirred. The nose is very expressive, greedy, on simmering blackberry jam, black cherry – kernel included – cocoa, and a slight milky touch (fruit yogurt). The mouth is round, ample, velvety, delivering a dense and fleshy, juicy substance, underlined by solid tannins, but already well melted. The fruits perceived on the nose are very present, without overdoing it, in a fresh and delicious version. The finish continues in the same spirit, with an intensification of tannins, but also fruit and freshness: we are fully on the cocoa cherry – the risk of addiction is high – prolonged by chalky and spicy notes. You would never imagine that this wine comes from Beaujolais!
