Like all of Eiling’s malts, this Irish Single Malt is bottled at cask strength at 47.7%. Distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2017, there are just 150 bottles of this liquid. Rumoured to be from the Cooley distillery, this whiskey distillery is special due to its access to clean, pure water from the Slieve Na gCloc river that runs down from the mountain and right by the distillery.
Nose: Green apples, bubble gum fruitiness, a grassy touch, hints of vanilla & menthol and a breeze of refreshing fruitiness.
Palate & Finish : Typical Irish triple-distilled filled with sweet fruitiness, fruity bubble gum, waxy and it coats the tongue. The finish is medium to long. Very alluring whisky which is highly drinkable. Perfect for a summer night.
