Pulpy persona with fleshy stone fruit and lemon/grapefruit citrus pith. There’s sappy minerality and a food-friendly twist of grip on the close. The finish is vinous and smoky with a whisper of nettle, a taut and gently powdery structure and a saline accent which Germain attributes to the wine’s flint terroirs.
