Stranger & Stranger is a bit of a departure of blending experts Compass Box, because it’s technically not a whisky. Nose: Vibrant orange blossom and fresh green apple notes up front. Develops hints of cut oak and menthol later on. Palate: Rhubarb and custard sweeties, grassy barley, toasted brown sugar, cooked apple and a hint of milky tea. Finish: Heavy vanilla and toasted almonds.
